Meet Angelina
Hi, I’m Angelina—and I’m so glad you’re here.
I’m a child and teen therapist helping kids navigate big emotions, anxiety, behavioral challenges, and life transitions. I know that when your child is struggling, it can feel overwhelming and confusing as a parent. You might be noticing changes in their mood, behavior, or confidence—and wondering how to best support them.
You don’t have to figure that out alone.
Who I Work With
I support children (as young as 4) and teens who may be experiencing anxiety, emotional overwhelm, difficulty with behavior, school-related stress, or challenges adjusting to changes at home or in life.
Whether your child is having frequent meltdowns, feeling worried or withdrawn, or just not quite acting like themselves, therapy can help them better understand and express what they’re going through.
My Approach as Child and Teen Therapist
My approach is warm, engaging, and tailored to your child’s age and personality.
For younger children, I use play-based therapy and creative expression to help them communicate and process emotions in a way that feels natural and safe. Young kids don’t always have the words to explain what they’re feeling — but through play, art, and connection, we can begin to understand what’s going on underneath the behavior.
For older kids and teens, I focus on building emotional awareness, coping skills, and confidence so they can better manage stress, anxiety, and everyday challenges.
What Therapy Can Look Like
Every child is different, so sessions are individualized based on your child’s needs.
Some sessions may look like play, art, or interactive activities for younger children. Others may involve more conversation, skill-building, and reflection for older kids and teens.
No matter the approach, my goal is to create a space where your child feels comfortable, understood, and supported.

My Experience & Training
Before becoming a counselor, I worked as an elementary school teacher. That experience gave me a strong understanding of how children learn, communicate, and experience the world — and I bring that perspective into my work every day.
I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education from Point Park University and a Master of Science in School of Counseling from Penn West University.
A Little About Me
Connection matters, especially when working with kids, so here are a few things about me:
- I’m a proud owner of two Dalmatians and love being active with them
- I enjoy hiking, walking, running, and spending time outdoors
- I love kayaking and being on the water
- I’m a big Disney fan (definitely a kid at heart!)
- I’m passionate about art and enjoy both exploring it and creating my own pieces
These parts of who I am often help kids feel more relaxed and comfortable in sessions.
For Parents
I know that when your child is struggling, it affects the whole family.
You might feel unsure of what to do next, or even question if you’re doing the “right” thing. My goal is not only to support your child, but to support you as well—offering insight, guidance, and reassurance along the way.
You don’t have to carry this alone.
