If you are experiencing symptoms of depression and/or anxiety, counseling can help.

Today’s Stress

There are lots of reasons today to feel worry, stress, and/or fear. Occasionally we all experience these feelings, and that’s okay. Anxiety is our body’s way of responding to life’s stresses.

If you find you are having a hard time getting through the day without a feeling of constant worry, counseling may be a great option for you. Talk therapy is extremely effective in getting to the underlying cause of your worries.

Anxiety and Depression

When you experience anxiety or depression, some of the most basic tasks in your life can feel like a huge undertaking. Have you ever woken up in the morning and thought “I can’t possibly do this all over again”? Does just getting out of bed feel like a huge hurdle?

If your daily tasks feel insurmountable, you’re not alone. There are lots of people that feel overwhelmed, sad and/or low at times throughout their life. Ups and downs in life are completely normal. Allow yourself to feel your feelings. They are your feelings and they matter.

Lifestyle Changes

Certain lifestyle changes can help boost your mental health.

Do you stay up late and wake up early? Instead, go to be early so you can get at least 8 hours of sleep a night.

When we are feeling down, it’s’ easy to reach to comfort foods. However, excess sugar and fat can make us feel worse. Eating well and exercising are proven ways to help boost mental health.

If you just aren’t feeling like you, counseling can help.
