Hello! My name is Suzie. I’m glad you’re here. Life can be so complicated. We work so hard to earn a living, care for our families and take care of our households. We give so much of ourselves to our children, our employers and our communities. We try our best to be a good partner and friend, but often we find that despite all our hard work, life can take unexpected turns leaving us feeling overwhelmed, anxious, depressed, frustrated and hopeless. Relationships can become fractured, children can seem ungrateful, work is unfulfilling, and the thought of cooking one more meal or doing one more load of laundry can seem unbearable.

With over five decades of life experience, I can personally relate to many of the struggles of my clients. I have survived unthinkable things, unimaginable pain, and shocking disappointments in myself and my relationships. Through my own work in therapy, I learned just how beneficial it is to have a nonbiased professional to talk to.

I’m in my final year of a master’s program in clinical counseling from the Townsend Institute at Concordia University Irvine. I’m working as an intern under the clinical supervision of our practice owner, Ann Marie Hefferan. I’ve been told that I’m warm, compassionate and easy to talk to. Are you struggling? Are you ready for something to change? I can help!
